Public Scoping Meeting on the Crotona Park East/West Farms Rezoning and Related Actions

A public scoping meeting will be held on the proposed Crotona Park East/West Farms Rezoning and Related Actions proposal on Thursday, March 4th, 2010, in the cafeteria of the Fannie Lou Hamer Freedom High School, 1021 Jennings Street, Bronx, New York, 10460.  The meeting will start at 4:00 pm and participants are asked to enter the building from the entrance on West Farms Road.  Written comments will be accepted by the lead agency until Monday, March 15th, 2010.

Public Scoping Meeting on the Proposed Domino Sugar Rezoning

On July 31, 2007 the Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission, held a public scoping meeting on the Draft Scope of Work for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Domino Sugar Rezoning project. Comments on the Draft Scope of Work were accepted at the meeting and for ten days following the meeting.

On Wednesday, December 30, 2009, the Final Scope of Work for the DEIS was issued.

Public Scoping Meeting on the 15 Penn Plaza Project

On January 27, 2009 the Department of City Planning, on behalf of the City Planning Commission, held a public scoping meeting on the Draft Scope of Work for an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the 15 Penn Plaza project. Comments on the Draft Scope of Work were accepted at the meeting and for ten days following the meeting.

On Friday, February 5, 2010, the Final Scope of Work for the DEIS was issued.

Public Scoping Meeting on the proposed Riverside Center Project A public scoping meeting was held on the Riverside Center Project on Thursday, January 8th, 2009, at the New York City Department of City Planning’s Spector Hall, 22 Reade Street, New York, New York, 10007.

The meeting was held in two sessions with the first from 2:00 pm to 4:45 pm and the second from 6:00 pm to 8:45 pm. Written comments were accepted by the lead agency until Tuesday, January 20th, 2009.

Public Scoping Meeting on the proposed Western Rail Yard Project

A public scoping meeting was held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 655 West 34th Street, Room 1A-03-05. The scoping meeting included both afternoon and evening sessions. The afternoon session was held between 2:00 and 5:00 PM. The evening session was held between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM to accommodate all those who registered to speak prior to 9:00PM. Written comments on the Draft Scope of Work were accepted at the meeting and were accepted by the co-lead agencies until the close of business on Tuesday, October 14, 2008.

On Friday, May 8, 2009, the Final Scope of Work for the Draft EIS was issued.
