161st Street/River Avenue Rezoning:
The Department of City Planning proposed rezoning three sub-areas of the 161st Street corridor and related actions to complement the civic uses and leverage excellent transit access to facilitate new residential and commercial development and encourage affordable housing in the civic heart of the Bronx.

Lower Concourse Rezoning:
The Department of City Planning proposes the rezoning of the Lower Concourse and related actions to provide new opportunities for residential development, encourage new affordable housing, retain viable industrial businesses, provide new open space along the Harlem River, and revive an underutilized manufacturing area located at a transit-rich gateway to the South Bronx. |
