Flushing Bay LTCP Alternatives Meeting (October 26, 2016 – USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center)
Last fall, the NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) kicked off a Long Term Control Plan (LTCP) for Flushing Bay. The goal of the LTCP is to better understand the water quality impacts of combined sewer overflows* (CSOs) in Flushing Bay and to propose appropriate solutions.
Since the kickoff meeting DEP has been evaluating potential CSO controls and the related water quality benefits and costs. Join us on October 26th for a presentation and discussion on the various “alternatives” that have been evaluated. We seek your input and feedback before a final proposal is submitted to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC).
