Water Board: Request for Proposals

The New York City Water Board (the "Board") has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit technical proposals and statements of qualifications from vendors to provide rate advisory services.  The Board is seeking to acquire the services of a professional rate consultant in connection with establishing water and sewer rates and charges in an amount sufficient to maintain the water and sewer systems on a self-sustaining basis.  The Board’s annual billings for the fiscal year just ended were in excess of 1.7 billion dollars.

All qualified firms with experience in utility rate setting are invited to respond to the RFP.  Copies of the RFP package and additional information may be obtained from the Deputy Treasurer: Carmelo Emilio, New York City Water Board, 59-17 Junction Boulevard, 8th Floor, Flushing, NY 11373, telephone: 718-595-3593.

A proposers' conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2006, at 59-17 Junction Boulevard, Elmhurst, NY 11373.  You will need picture ID to enter the building. All firms planning to attend the conference must register with the Deputy Treasurer by 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2006.  The deadline for submission of proposals is 4:00 p.m., September 22, 2006.
