In partnership with the United States Postal Service and the National Association of Letter Carriers, the Department for the Aging and the Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities launched Carrier Alert. This voluntary preventive program enhances a letters carriers ability to respond when a senior or person with disability may be in distress.
