Skin cancer is the most rapidly increasing cancer in the U.S. with more than 1 million new cases each year. The most likely reason that skin cancer rates are rising is that people are spending more time outdoors. Ozone layer depletion may also contribute. Using SPF lotion consistently & reapplying when necessary prevents damage to the skin. The good news is that most forms of skin cancer are highly curable!
It's never too late to start treating your skin well.
Parents: When you protect your children when they are young and you teach them good habits in the sun, you can substantially lower their risk of getting skin cancer.
