Community Resilience
The New York City Health Department partners with community organizations to build a community with the ability to withstand and recover – in both the short and long term – from a public health emergency, such as an influenza pandemic or terrorist attack.
New York City Health Department partners with a variety of nonprofit and for-profit organizations to strengthen community resilience in New York City, including:

- neighborhood block clubs
