Immunization Walk-in Clinics

Immunization clinics will be closed on the following days:
    Monday, October 12th, 2009 (holiday),
    Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009 (holiday),
    Wednesday, November 11th, 2009 (holiday),
    Thursday, November 26th, 2009 (holiday),
    Friday, December 25th, 2009 (holiday), and
    Friday, January 1st, 2010 (holiday).

The Immunization clinics are open for patient registration from 8:30 to 2:30. No appointment is necessary; persons will be seen on a first come first served basis. Please arrive early. Due to heavy volume during flu season, clinics may need to close registration early if numbers exceed the capacity of the clinic.

The Health Department walk-in immunization clinics provide immunizations required for school attendance  (PDF). Other vaccines for adults, including:
  • Hepatitis B, Td, Tdap, MMR, and pneumococcal vaccines.

  • Influenza vaccine (seasonal only) is available through June 30th, 2010.

  • HPV vaccine is available to girls and women 9 through 26 years of age and meningococcal vaccine for 11 through 18 year olds.

  • Hepatitis A vaccine is available for high-risk adults.
**Children between the ages of 4 and 18 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have a signed consent from the guardian.

Please bring your vaccination record and insurance information with you, if available.

For immunizations for children less than 4 years of age, call 311 for a referral to a Child Health clinic in your area.


Travel Vaccines: Travel immunizations, including yellow fever and typhoid and malaria prophylaxis are not provided at the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Immunization Clinics. For information about travel immunizations, malaria prophylaxis and for locations of travel clinics, go to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention web site.

TB Tests: TB tests are not provided at the Department of Health Immunization Clinics. For information about TB testing and TB test sites go to TB Testing or call 311 for further information.

Merck Adult Vaccination Locator: To Locate clinics offering Zoster Vaccine (shingles) click here, or call Merck at 1-800-261-5579.

Please Note: None of the locations listed in the Merck Adult Clinic Locator are operated by DOHMH. The listing of non-DOHMH clinic locations is a service for personal, non-commercial use by individual users of this Merck Adult Clinic Locator to offer a range of options to receive Zoster vaccine (Shingles). The information and vaccine delivery service of those sites are exclusively under the control of those practitioners or clinics.

Call 311 for further information about available vaccination services. Make sure to bring your immunization card and insurance information with you.

Directions: Near the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. Walking North on Richmond Terrace, turn left onto Wall Street and then right onto Stuyvesant Place. It is on the right side.
