New York City Enterprise Architecture Framework
To transform the way the City interacts with residents, businesses, visitors, and employees, DoITT is developing a Citywide Enterprise Architecture that leverages technology to improve services and increase accessibility, transparency, and accountability across all City agencies. City government is being blueprinted as a single enterprise, and information about the management and delivery of all City services is being organized and stored in a single repository. With information focused on planning and cost, City government will maximize the use of existing assets and infrastructure and evaluate proposals for efficiency and cost effectiveness. To facilitate the development of the NYC Enterprise Architecture, DoITT has finalized a specific architectural framework and industry-standard methods in version 1 of the NYC Enterprise Architecture Framework (NEAF).
