Transportation Program

DYCD provides free group subway transportation certificates to eligible non-profit youth service organizations.

FREE YOUTH GROUP SUBWAY TRANSPORTATION

DYCD works in conjunction with New York City Transit to provide free group subway transportation certificates for youth organizations.  Certificates are not valid for use on buses.

The Free Group Subway Transportation program is available to non-profit organizations and schools that provide services to youth ages of 5 through 18. Applicants will be required to verify their tax-exempt status and provide information on their services for youth.

The Subway Certificates may be utilized:

  • Year-round - Holidays included
  • Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 11:30 pm
  • Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am - 11:30 pm

Note: New York City Transit will not honor passes Monday - Friday before 9:00 am and during the Monday through Friday rush hours of 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
