February 1, 2007 - Two “Made in NY” shows are debuting in television’s midseason this year, with some big-name talent guiding them behind the scenes. “Knights of Prosperity,” a comedy about a gang of lovable losers trying to rob Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, is produced by Worldwide Pants’ Rob Burnett and David Letterman. Film and television actor Donal Logue plays Eugene Gurkin, the mastermind behind the plan, while Sofia Vergara, Lenny Venito, Maz Jobrani, Josh Grisetti, and Kevin Michael Richardson round out the rest of the “Knights”. The show currently airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ABC.

Don’t miss NBC’s “The Black Donnellys”, written, directed and produced by Academy Award winner Paul Haggis. “Donnellys” is the story of four Irish brothers from Hell’s Kitchen who get caught up in organized crime. The show stars Jonathan Tucker as Tommy, Michael Stahl-David as Sean, Billy Lush as Kevin, and Tom Guiry as the fourth Donnelly brother, Jimmy. “The Black Donnellys” begins airing Mondays on March 5, at 10pm on NBC.
