Public Health Insurance Enrollment

In September 2004, the Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access released a study on Public Health Insurance Participation in the Community Districts of New York City. It identifies NYC Community Districts with the greatest number of children and adults eligible for, but not enrolled in, public health insurance programs. With this analysis, OCHIA's city agency and facilitated enroller partners can target health insurance outreach to communities with the greatest need and thereby maximize the enrollment of eligible New Yorkers in public health insurance programs and improve access to health insurance citywide.

The full report, which includes detailed maps and tables, can be downloaded by clicking on the link below. You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 5.1 or higher in order to open the document.
