July 10: Staten Island Yankees baseball game. Join other dads and
their children in Staten Island and root for the Yankees-or their
across-the-Verrazano rivals, the Brooklyn Cyclones. 7:00pm
July 26: New York Liberty basketball game.
Come out to Madison Square Garden for "Dads and Daughters Night," and watch the women's basketball team take on the Phoenix Mercury in its run for that elusive championship crown. 4:00pm

22: Basketball Clinic at Manhattan's Chelsea Piers, hosted by the New York Liberty. Your kids can have a ball while getting schooled by the Liberty's star players. 2:00pm
October
26: Get ghoulish with NYC DADS for our Halloween Party
in the Lower East Side. There’ll be costume and other gift give-aways,
Halloween arts and crafts and trick-or-treat fun. And did we
mention there’d be CANDY? So get the kids wickedly wired at the spectacularly spooky Angel Orensanz space at 172 Norfolk Street, south of Houston. 4pm-7pm. You must be on our invitation list so call the phone number below.

November 7th: A
special group of NYC dads and their kids (six-years-old and over) will
attend the Jazz for Young People concert on November 7th, at 3pm. Entitled
“Who is Mary Lou Williams?” the show features host Wynton Marsalis and the
Lincoln Center Orchestra demonstrating how this leading lady of jazz
“created a sum of musical moods that fully reflected the spectrum of
jazz.”The concert will take place at the impressive Rose Theater on 60th
street and Broadway. If you are an NYC dad and you and your children would
like to attend the event, email us at NYCDADS@hra.nyc.gov by
October 30th. Please give us your name and contact
information, your child’s name and age, as well as a short statement about
what jazz
means to you and/or your child. There are limited seats available so NYC DADS will notify those who will be able to attend.

The annual NYC DADS holiday party, featuring arts
and crafts,
entertainers, face-painters and good food, will be held at the Museum of New York City (103rd & 5th avenue) from 4pm to 7pm.
