LPC Grant Program Revitalizes Fort Greene Block Three row houses in Brooklyn are among the dozens to receive funding each year through the Landmarks Preservation Commission’s Historic Preservation Grant Program. In the last 10 years, the federally funded program has provided more than $1.8 million for the restoration of historic properties in all five boroughs. The program was awarded a lifetime achievement award in May by the Metropolitan Chapter of the Victorian Society of America for its significant contribution to the understanding and preservation of the New York City metropolitan area's 19th and early 20th century heritage.
