NYC Green Carts
NYC Green Carts
The NYC Dept of Health and Mental Hygiene is about to establish new waiting lists for those people interested in securing a permit to sell fresh fruits and vegetables in designated areas of New York City.

Under the law signed by the Mayor, disabled veterans, disabled persons and non-disabled veterans are considered "preference groups" and would secure a better waiting list position than those not so qualified.

Interested individuals can obtain this information by calling 311, by picking up a packet at the Licensing Center at 42 Broadway, 5th floor, New York, NY 10004 or by accessing the NYC Green Cart website.
