Parking Fees
Annual parking sticker fees will increase from $5 per year to $75 per year, or $6.25 per month effective May 1, 2006. There will be a 20% discount for parking fees for seniors, disabled residents and residents who pay less than ceiling rent. Appliance Surcharge Fees for the Use of Heavy-Duty Appliances
NYCHA will implement new rates for appliance surcharge fees for the use of heavy-duty appliances, such as air conditioners, freezers, dishwashers and washing machines, which will be effective June 1, 2006. There will be a 20% discount for seniors, disabled residents and residents who pay less than ceiling rent. Applicable increased fees will be reflected in the June rent bill.

Charges for the Cost of Labor, Material and Equipment for the Repair of Items Damaged by Residents
NYCHA is increasing certain fees for the replacement and installation of items that have been damaged by residents beyond normal wear and tear in their apartments. The new rates take effect June 1, 2006. No discounts apply in this category.
