Advocacy
All clients are asked to speak to an advocate from a partner organization. Advocates who work at the Family Justice Centers come from a range of community based organizations with specialties in a broad range of cultures and languages. They can work with clients to determine what services they need, provide assistance in applying for shelter and housing, and refer clients to counseling, support groups, and voluntary spiritual support. Advocates can also assist clients in creating a personalized safety plan for them and their children.

Case Management
Advocates from partner organizations also provide short-term and long-term case management services to ensure that clients receive all needed services.

Therapeutic Counseling
Licensed social workers from partner organizations provide short-term and long-term therapeutic counseling to support clients. An advocate from a partner organization will connect the client to a licensed social worker with the appropriate cultural and language expertise, and sessions may be held at the Center or at the home office of the provider, based on client preference.

Interfaith Spiritual Support
Clergy from
a variety of faiths provide spiritual support to clients on a voluntary basis at the Family Justice Centers. Clients may tell an advocate from a partner organization if they wish to speak to a clergy member.
