A.V.O.N. Mentoring Program
The Advanced Volunteer Opportunity Network (A.V.O.N.) Mentoring Program is an initiative of the Mayor's Office to Combat Domestic Violence with support from the AVON Foundation for Women through the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York. The A.V.O.N. Mentoring Program pairs experienced professionals from various industries with qualified NYC Family Justice Center clients to focus on developing technical, professional, and personal skills, including networking, interviewing skills, and professional etiquette. The A.V.O.N. Mentoring Program will provide professional guidance, offer advice and feedback on employment goals, introduce mentees to professional networks, and teach mentees the tools to cultivate networking opportunities to enable professional growth. We wish to thank the AVON Foundation for Women for their support of the Mayor’s Fund to Advance New York City and the A.V.O.N. Mentoring Program.
