There are two different ways to fund a NYCE IRA account; regular contributions and rollovers.  Regular contributions are payments, in the form of either check or money order, that are sent by the account owner to be deposited into his/her NYCE IRA account.  Rollover payments into the NYCE IRA are generally a tax-free distribution from a previous retirement plan or IRA.
