Direct Deposit of Child Support
	Eligibility All petitioners receiving ordered support payments mailed directly to their designated address from an employee of the City of New York, Department of Education, or the New York City Housing Authority are eligible to join the program. This program is not available to those recipients who are paid through the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE), the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA), or non-NYS Support Collection Agencies. The Benefits of Direct Deposit Petitioners who have their child support payments directly deposited into their accounts discover how this process is safer, faster, smarter, and offers better control of the monies due you. With no cost, accounts can be updated electronically and the funds be made available in your own account early each payday. Learn more about direct deposit Enrollment Eligible petitioners may submit a completed Direct Deposit of Child Support Enrollment/Cancellation form to: NYC Office of Payroll Administration Payroll Customer Service Division Support Collection Unit Room 200N One Centre Street New York, NY 10007 Please remember: A voided check or savings statement copy must accompany the application so OPA can verify the account number Your petitioner's signature on the application must be notarized or the application will not be processed Applicants should retain a copy of the completed application for their records Direct deposit payments will begin within two or three pay periods of OPA's receipt of the completed application. Funds are credited to your account on pay day. Changes to Direct Deposit of Child Support Payments The Direct Deposit of Child Support Enrollment/Cancellation form can also be used to change the account's owner, number, type, and/or ABA number. Check Replacement Charge
Effective Wednesday, 7/1/2009, there will be a $55 replacement check fee charged for each replacement check issued by the NYC Office of Payroll Administration.
