The Aeropostale Holiday Festival, the nation’s longest running holiday college basketball tournament, will once again be held at Madison Square Garden. The Holiday Festival will feature the Columbia Lions squaring off against the Virginia Tech Hokies, as well as the St. John’s Red Storm battling the Marist Red Foxes in two days of double-header action.
Virginia Tech will return to defend their title as they take on Columbia in the first day of action; while former St. John’s assistant and now Marist head coach Chuck Martin will look to lead the Red Foxes against his former team in the day’s second game. The winners from the first day’s action will play each other in the championship game, while the two losers will face off in the consolation game.
