Women's Sports Challenge


Date: Saturday, September 9, 2000
Place: Grant's Tomb, Upper West Side Manhattan
Riverside Drive and 122nd Street

The New York City Women's Sports Challenge is an annual, multi-sport event dedicated to furthering women's sports.

This year, the challenge will include two sports: In-line Skating, and Cycling.

Cycling: Categories for all athletic levels, exceptional prize lists, and developmental clinics for aspiring racers.

Bear Mountain Road Race: (September 10th) AT Bear Mountain, the Men's and Women's National Points Races will receive three-place hill climbing prizes based on points accumulated each lap up Tiorati Brook Road.

In-Line Skating: There are two levels; the 10k and 20k.


The mission of the Women's Sports Challenge is to create the world's premier athletic event for women, while making significant charitable contributions.
