Deputy General Counsel Linda Wayner
Linda Maria Wayner is Deputy Counsel for the NYC Commission for the United
Nations, Consular Corps and Protocol. Prior to joining the Office of the
Mayor, Ms. Wayner was a commercial litigation attorney at the global law firm
Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP. She received her law degree
from the University of Michigan, where she was an associate editor of the Michigan Law Review. Ms. Wayner obtained both a
bachelor's and master's degree in International Politics from Baylor
University. Ms. Wayner is admitted to practice in New York State, and she
also serves as an adjunct professor of international commercial law at Pace Law
School. She currently serves as a Deputy President of the Hispanic National Bar
Association for the New York region, and is a member of the New York City Bar
Association's Committee on International Security Affairs.
